182: Dreaming in Spanish

screenshot_2016-06-30-12-40-47-168.jpegA funny thing happened last night. I had already fallen asleep and had entered the first stages of dreaming when my wife woke me up. She looked wide-eyed and incredulous.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.

“You were sleep talking in Spanish,” she said.

I’m becoming more fluent in my Spanish. Duolingo rates me at 55%. I have started stringing together simple but complete sentences. I like to annoy Emily by switching to Spanish every now and then. But this is the first time I’ve talked Spanish in my sleep.
