165: Yamamomo

img_20160613_212838.jpgMy friend A– called me up this afternoon to announce that he was in town and did I want to have dinner? Of course, yes! Emily and I brought him to Kushiya in Rowi Square, where we had katsudon, gyoza, okonomiyaki, and their signature grilled barbecues. A– was quite pleased with the meal.

After dinner, we headed for coffee at White House. We had originally intended to go somewhere else but when we learned A– had never been there, we made a detour. Their coffee was reasonably priced and A– liked the ambience. For good measure, we ordered their Yamamomo green tea cheesecake (pictured above). It was pricey but delicious.
