Emily and I had post-lunch coffee and dessert at this new cafe called Rollin’ Pin. Two friends separately recommended the place to us yesterday. We simply had to go.
The croissants were excellent, very light and flaky. The butter came through in the flavor. You could tell they didn’t scrimp. We also had their chocolate coulant. The prices weren’t bad. The coffee was just so-so.
Rollin’ Pin is along a small street right across Silliman University. It’s a small place, just ten small tables. It tends to get full with students studying for exams.
I had the hard drive on my laptop swapped with an SSD disk. It only cost P250 to have it done here in Dumaguete. Now my laptop boots up in 10 seconds and shuts down in one. Tomorrow I’ll see if I notice any improvement in battery life.
